Commands

Instant Media does not use in-chat commands to configure a group. The only command it answers is /start, sent in a private chat with the bot:

/start

InstantMediaBotI auto-download media from supported links posted in your group.

Add to groupSettings

/start opens the mini app — from there you add the bot to a group or manage one you already added.

What used to be commands

Earlier versions let a group admin type /status, /chat_language, /admins_only, /no_caption, /no_progress, /no_emojies or /audio_only directly in the group. All of that moved into the mini app in June 2026 and is no longer read from chat messages — see Settings for the same toggles, and Statistics and logs for what /status used to show.

Everything else

Every other action — adding the bot, choosing a chat, changing a setting, checking a plan — happens by posting a link (which the bot reacts to directly) or through the mini app, never through a slash command.
