Questions people ask before adding the bot
Is Instant Media free?
Yes. The free plan delivers media for links already in our cache of 50M+ files; it does not download links it has never seen before. Paid plans add fresh downloads, more weekly traffic and larger files, with a 3-day trial on every one.
How do I add it to a group?
Open @InstantMediaBot, use the mini app to pick or create the chat, and add the bot as an administrator with permission to post messages — the permissions it needs are pre-selected.
What happens to links it hasn't seen before?
On a paid plan the bot downloads the media fresh and delivers it. On the free plan, only links already in the shared cache are delivered; anything new is skipped silently.
What can admins-only mode do?
When enabled, the bot only reacts to links posted by group administrators; messages from regular members are ignored.
What are the file-size and resolution limits?
Free groups get 500 MB for priority sites and 50 MB for others, based on the chat's member count. Paid plans raise the cap to 200 MB (Pro), 500 MB (Expert) or 1 GB (Ultra) regardless of chat size, capped at 1080p video.
Can I get just the audio?
Yes — audio-only mode in the mini app saves the audio track with its cover as a preview instead of downloading the full video.
Where do I see what the bot has done in my group?
The mini app's chat settings show recent requests with their status, weekly traffic, and an events log for skipped or blocked links — no need to scroll the chat history.
How do I pay and can I cancel?
Inside the bot's mini app: cards, Telegram Stars, crypto and regional methods. Cancel any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
Will I be charged automatically?
Yes. Premium subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from inside the bot — cancellation prevents future charges, and your Premium access continues until the end of the current period.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Card details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment provider and never touch MadBots servers. The provider manages billing, receipts, VAT and chargebacks on our behalf.
What payment methods are accepted?
Major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Telegram Stars, crypto and a range of local payment methods depending on your region — selectable at checkout.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. We offer a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase. Email support@madbots.dev with your order ID; refunds typically clear within 5–10 business days. Renewals are not refundable, but cancelling stops any further charge.
